13 Apr 2026
Clontarf FC will host Lansdowne FC in a highly anticipated Energia All-Ireland League Semi-Final on Saturday, April 18th at Castle Avenue, with kick-off scheduled for 4:00pm.

Clontarf are the current holders of the All-Ireland League title and are looking to retain the trophy this season. A place in the All-Ireland League Final at the Aviva Stadium on Sunday, April 26th is at stake and the match promises to be one of the standout fixtures of the domestic rugby calendar.

Clontarf secured a second-place finish in the regular season, ahead of third-placed Lansdowne, with the sides sharing one win apiece in their previous meetings this season. The evenly matched record sets the stage for a compelling encounter between two of Ireland's strongest and most decorated club sides.

Supporters can expect a high-quality contest, with both teams featuring players with Leinster Rugby experience and former Ireland 7s internationals.
The club is also hosting a family-friendly matchday experience, welcoming the local community to enjoy:
  • Face painting
  • Food trucks
  • Post-match DJ entertainment
Speaking ahead of the fixture, a  Clontarf club captain Dylan Donnellan said:

“This is a huge occasion for the club and the local community. Hosting an AIL semi-final at Castle Avenue is something special, and we’re looking forward to welcoming supporters of all ages for what promises to be a brilliant day both on and off the pitch. The support we get from the sidelines really makes a difference, so we hope to see a great turnout and lots of red and blue as we look to book a place in the final in the Aviva Stadium.”

Clontarf Rugby is encouraging supporters from across Dublin’s Northside and beyond to come out in force and get behind the team as they bid to reach the All-Ireland League Final.
