Hession Hairdressing Picks Up Award at LOreal Colour Trophy Awards
The 2013 L’Oréal Professional Colour Trophy awards took place last week in the Convention centre in Dublin. The L’Oréal Colour Trophy combines fashion, inspiration, creativity and innovative live hairdressing into a spectacular and credible competition. The Grand Final is a gala event boasting breathtaking shows and the hairdressing calibre of live hairdressing Ireland has to offer.
On the night, Hession Hairdressing, Clontarf won third place with Marian O’Meara and Tara Smartt representing the salon.
This year was the 58th year of the L’Oréal Colour Trophy awards, with Bressie presenting on the night, the atmosphere was immense. Hession Hairdressing had two teams featuring in the final, Elaine Farrelly and Sharon Delee represented the Drumcondra salon showcasing high class talent with an outstanding job.
The L’Oréal Colour Trophy is the world’s longest running and largest, most directional live competition in hairdressing presenting hairdressing salons across Ireland with the platform to showcase their unique talent by fusing fashion trends and technical excellence to create outstanding results.
It has been the benchmark of Irish hairdressing inspiration with its outstanding level of competitive work and its leading selection of judges. The team that judges the L’Oréal Professionnel Colour Trophy is made up of many of the most distinguished, knowledgeable and respected names in the industry. They are all icons and multi-award winners in their own right. Hession Hairdressing had two award winning salons in Drumcondra and Clontarf. The Clontarf salon is also home to a makeup suite for Hessions own makeup brand BUFF. BUFF make up has taken Ireland by storm with many fans including Amanda Byram, Rebecca Creighton, Kathryn Thomas, Jamelia, Anna Daly and Vivienne Connolly.
