Happy Faces Day returns this April

26 Mar 2012

Happy Faces in ClontarfThe annual photofest that is Happy Faces Day returns again this year and local Clontarf photographer, Brendan Lyon is taking part once again.

For a €25 donation (100% goes to charity), you receive a mini Photo Shoot and a Professional 7×5 inch Individual Portrait. Remember that all of your cash goes to the Jack and Jill Foundation.

This is a great way to get a low-cost portrait of a loved one and at the same time help out a very deserving charity.

The Jack and Jill Foundation provides direct funding, to families of children with brain damage who suffer severe intellectual and physical developmental delay, enabling them to purchase home respite care. These are children who as a result of their condition require intensive home nursing care.

Brendan Lyon and Jonathan IrwinJack & Jill is facing a serious shortfall in its funding due to a drop in public donations and failure to secure the full €1.35 HSE grant it required for 2011.

Each year, sponsors Canon kindly provide prizes for the best portraits from Happy Faces Day and Brendan has been a finalist in the last two Happy Faces Day portrait competitions.
