Great weekend in store for treasure hunters!
Some people have a flair for sifting out the best pieces in car boot sales and fairs. This weekend in Clontarf, there's two great opportunities for you to source that piece of furniture for the house or garden, or maybe pick up a treasure that just took your fancy.
On Saturday, Clontarf & Scots Presbyterian Church at the corner of the Howth Road will be hosting a car boot sale. There'll be plenty of stalls to browse through, and teas and coffees will be available when you need a bit of refreshment.
On Sunday at St. Anthony's Church Parish Hall, an antiques fair will be run from 9am till 5pm. There will be great buying opportunities there, and sellers of antiques can take a table for €10.
As the saying goes 'one man's junk is another man's treasure'......!
