Great Response To Art Competition for commemoration of 1014
There has been a tremendous response from the pupils of Transition Year and of Fifth Year in Holy Faith School to the invitation to produce an art work on the theme of 'Clontarf, 1014-2014: The call to peace and reconciliation'. We have received over twenty responses.
They are currently being looked over, with a view to choosing the best three, all of whom will receive prizes. A Clontarf artist, Tony Wiggins, has kindly agreed to transpose the winning entry onto the arched space on the convent sidewall to the left of the front of the church.
