Gracefield Road to Vernon Avenue Walking and Cycling Scheme

08 Jun 2023

This is a statement from Clontarf Residents’ Association. DCC have opened a non-statutory public consultation about the proposed Gracefield Road to Vernon Avenue Walking and Cycling Scheme.  The Information Leaflet for this scheme can be viewed here.  This leaflet will be distributed to residents and businesses directly adjacent to the scheme. Full details of the proposal, including maps, drawings and information on how to provide feedback directly to DCC can be found at https://consultation.dublincity.ie/traffic-and-transport/gracefield-road-to-vernon-avenue-scheme/.

We will be making observations on this proposal and would welcome your feedback to clontarf.res.assoc@gmail.comOne of the key aims of the proposal is to improve road safety for pupils attending St Brigid’s NS, Killester, and St Paul’s College, Raheny.  Unfortunately, no such improvements are proposed for any of the Clontarf schools that could be linked to this Scheme – Greenlane’s, Belgrove and Holy Faith – and we would be particularly interested to hear your views on this.
