Get Ready to Battle for The Bay!

This weekend, Saturday 28th & Sunday 29th May sees the anniversary of one of Clontarf’s greatest battles…. The Battle for the Bay!

That’s right; it’s been 10 years since the French (Francois & Catherine of Pure Magic) invaded Dollymount Strand to host one of the best Water Sports event ever to hit the shores of Ireland!

This 10th edition of the Battle for the Bay is promised to be the most exciting and eventful one yet. And the fun isn’t just limited to the water! There’ll be a funfair including games and activities for the kiddos (including a special celebration of nature), fresh food stalls, a beach market, live bands and DJs as well as exciting evening celebrations in one of Clontarf’s great venues - the Bram Stoker!

And if that isn't enough, the wonderful people at Pure Magic are treating the people of Clontarf (and the surrounding areas) to something truly special. They're calling it the candle on top of their 10th anniversary cake. On Saturday at 11 PM SHARP, there will be a special fireworks show on the water! So make sure to head down to the Prom and the Wooden Bridge on Saturday night to see something truly magical!

The Battle for the Bay is open to people of ages and is a great day out for families. Also, did we mention it’s completely free?
