Gavin Brennan reaches live final of Yamaha Music Foundation Scholarship

Gavin Brennan, saxophonist, clontarfGavin Brennan (20), a classical saxophonist from Clontarf has been selected to play in the live final of the annual Yamaha Music Foundation of Europe Scholarship Awards.

Gavin is a third-level saxophone student at DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama, studying with Kevin Hanafin and began studying saxophone at the age of 10 under the guidance of Tim Hanafin, also from Clontarf.

The Irish Final takes place on the 6th February 2012 at the Royal Irish Academy of Music in Dublin, admission is free of charge and all supporters would be very welcome.
