Flood defence romance for Cian and Holly

We are delighted with the news that the romance of our own Cian Healy and Miss Ireland, Holly Carpenter was first sparked at last November's Flood Defence Protest in the Rugby club, as reported in this week's Evening Herald.

Both of them kindly volunteered their time to come and support our protest march back in November against the flood defence proposal and well.... they must have got talking!

While both are busy representing Ireland on the international stage of sport and beauty, the pair enjoyed a short break in London before the 6 Nations.

Both are active supporters of cancer research - Holly for breast cancer's 'Pretty n Pink' and Cian, pictured here sporting his Movember moustache.

We wish Cian well for the upcoming matches against Scotland and England and we also wish Holly well for her run in BBC's Sports Relief.

Looking forward to seeing them back in Clontarf soon and wishing this successful duo all the best for the future.
