Fine Weather ensures large turnout at Annual Sea Race

28 Jul 2011

The Clontarf Swimming Club Annual sea race was held last Sunday 24th July at Dollymount.

They were competing for the Bobby Nolan Trophy which has been in existence now for 10 years with the trophy itself being part of the Clontarf Swimming Club since 1911.

Fantastic weather brought out the crowds with 152 in the mens race and 58 in the womens race.

There is some really excellent footage available to view on You Tube - just click here.

Well done to all of the competitors and the spectators who showed up to cheer them on.
