Final Beach Clean Up For 2013

19 Dec 2013

The Final Beach Cleanup of the year will take place on Saturday 21st December 2013. Please find all the relevant details below.

Dublin City Council provides a tractor and trailer, plus Gerry the driver, to remove all of the rubbish that we collect.

The Clean-Up team do appreciate as much help as they can get. Bring a friend or a family member along with you. They will get some exercise, lots of fresh air and give some much needed help. Many hands make light work.

Please see the expected weather and tide information for Saturday below. I recommend that you wear warm clothes and bring a rain jacket. Good footwear is essential and rubber boots are always a good idea.

Finally, there will be a get-together afterwards in Clontarf Yacht & Boat Club for a festive hot drink and mince pie. This is a traditional annual "Sláinte agus go raibh míle maith agaibh" (Good health and thank you) for all the wonderful volunteers and friends.
