Fighting Breast Cancer Charity Lunch
Organised by the Rugby Club Marketing Committee, this is the second year in a row for this hugely successful charity lunch. Last year they raised over €7,000 and and with the lunch booked out since March 9th, it's shaping up to beat that target this year.
The Rugby shop will be open all day Saturday selling pink branded hoodies, tees and tops and a portion of sale proceeds on the day will go towards the Fighting Breast Cancer Awareness Organisation, so there's still a way to support this worthwhile charity.
The lunch kicks off at 2:30pm and running alongside is the crucial home game for Clontarf against Garryowen in the All Ireland League. There's sure to be a very vocal crowd on hand to support the lads, and keep them in pole position at the top of the league.
The marketing commmittee have asked us to stress their huge appreciation for the level of support they have received from local businesses this year. The raffle this year is full of prizes donated by local businesses.
ClontarfTV hopes to be there tomorrow to talk to the organisers about this great charity event that has also become a social highlight in the area.
