Evan Finnegan makes first team debutMany will be familiar with formar Clontarf local Evan Finnegan, as we have reported on his many recent successes while he plays for the Doncaster Rovers Youth Team.

Evan made his first team debut for Doncaster Rovers last week. Signed from Home Farm, he has only turned 17 and has already been making serious strides at Keepmoat Stadium.

First team manager David Saunders gave him his competitive first team debut. Despite going down in penalties, Evan set up his sides equaliser and received complementary reviews from Saunders for his efforts.

Evan has been making rapid progress with the Doncaster Rovers Youth Team and a first team debut at 17 is a great achievement. Evan has been described at a tidy full back who loves nothing better then to go raiding along the wing.
