Ellen Keane to Represent Ireland in Paralympics
This summer, shortly after the Olympic Games in London, the Paralympic Games will take place. Some of you may remember our featured article where Ellen Keane, who participated in the 2008 Paralympics in Beijing, spoke to ClontarfTV back in March.
Well, it gives us great pleasure to announce that Ellen Keane will be representing Ireland in the Paralympic Games in London.
She will be competing in three events:
- The 100m butterfly, on 30th of August
- 200m individual medley, on 6th of September
- 100m breaststroke, on 8th of September
To help support her training, there will be a bag packing day in Nolans Supermarket on Saturday the 7th of July. As well as that, there will be a best wishes book for people to sign to wish Ellen luck in the games.
