ECO-UNESO Demonstration for Education
A local 6th-year student who is a member of ECO-UNESCO, Ireland's Environmental Education and Youth Organisation that works to conserve the environment and empower young people, is taking part in a demonstration in the City Centre this weekend and hopes to get the word out and encourage others to attend.
The demonstration is for 'a more inspiring education' and is being led by a young team who want there to be more discussion of climate change and global issues in schools and increased efforts in engaging students with these topics.
The demonstration takes place on Sunday 11th March at 1 pm at the Spire, O' Connell.
