Do It For Dad this Father's Day

10 Jun 2013

If you have any energy left after Saturday's festival why not put on your walking shoes and 'Do it for Dad' on behalf of Men Against Cancer.

On Sunday, June 16th (Father's Day) they are holding their annual 5K fundraising walk in Clontarf, Dublin. This year's campaign is proudly sponsored by Janssen, pharmaceutical companies of Johnson & Johnson.

The walk starts at 12.30 at Clontarf DART station.

Men Against Cancer (MAC) is run by volunteers who have been diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. MAC's mission is to raise awareness of the disease and to provide men and their families and friends with information, advice and emotional support.

To join, participants can visit the Men Against Cancer Facebook page here to download a sponsorship card. No prior registration is required and anyone wishing to join the walk is welcome to come along on the day. Those wishing to make a donation - no matter how big or small – can contact MAC directly.

More information is also available on MAC’s website macireland.webs.com.
