Death of 'Clontarf Cowboy' Phillip Donnelly

The musical genius, originally from Clontarf but who called Tipperary home for several decades, was a well-known session musician and had worked and toured with the likes of Johnny Cash, The Everly Brothers, Emmylou Harris and Don Williams throughout his career. Over the past few years, Donnelly played a number of gigs locally in Clontarf Yacht & Boat Club.
