DCC Leaf Bags Available from CRA
It’s that time of year again when the leaves are starting to fall.
DCC has kindly supplied us with large green bio bags and clear compostable bags for collecting leaves from the public paths and roads. If you would like some, please email us at Clontarf.res.assoc@gmail.com with your address and we will arrange to drop some bags to you.
The filled bags can be left on the grass verge. DCC will collect them and send them off for composting. Please don’t put other garden waste or rubbish in these bags or dump garden waste or rubbish with the leaf bags.
We are asking everyone to please help keep the paths and drains clear of fallen leaves.
Last year we installed leaf mulch nets in a number of locations around Clontarf. We are currently undertaking a review of these nets to establish how well they have worked and what issues they presented. We will also be looking for residents’ feedback on the leave nets and would appreciate it if you could take time to complete this short survey.
