Daytime Comhaltas Open Day

On the 6th of March Daytime Comhaltas are having an Open Day in the Clasach centre for the Traditional Arts on the Alfie Byrne Road. "Daytime Comhaltas" is a new iniative of Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann.

As a community based organisation, active both at home and abroad, they have a mandate to serve the needs of the community in making available access for enjoying and participating in the traditional arts.

In Daytime Comhaltas they have talks/lectures on all aspects of Music, Song, Dance, Local History and Prehistory, Gaeilge Recitals/Performances, Sessions and Classes

There is no charge for admission to Daytime Comhaltas or the activities involved and only a small charge for beverages. Throughout the experience they will be guided by what the attendees want, so those interested in taking part do so from the start.

Daytime Comhaltas will be open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11am to 1pm, from the 6th of March.
