Dart disruption for May Bank Holiday

02 May 2012

Disappointing news for Northside travellers this Bank holiday weekend....if you were planning on a jaunt out to or from Clontarf on the DARTdart this weekend, you will have to make alternative plans....

Irish Rail have announced that they have scheduled works for this Bank Holiday weekend which will result in there being no train service between Connolly-Malahide and Connolly-Howth stations, on Saturday 5th, Sunday 6th and Monday 7th May, 2012.

These resignalling works will mean that the following stations will be closed over the weekend:

Portmarnock/Clongriffin/Howth/Sutton/Bayside/Howth Junction & Donaghmede/Kilbarrack/Raheny/Harmonstown/Killester and Clontarf Road.

Irish Rail have stated that Dublin Bus will accept all valid DART tickets for this affected period.

The full details of how the DART and commuter services are affected can be found at this link.
