CRA Update on St Pauls Playing Fields Development

Update on Proposed Development St. Paul’s Playing Fields in St Anne’s

Residents will be aware that An Bord Pleanála has again granted permission for a large scale development on the St Paul’s playing fields in St Anne’s. However, despite how the matter is being described by some media outlets, it is certainly not the end of the road.

There has been widespread opposition, both locally and from far and wide, to plans to develop these playing fields. From the mandate we received at the public meetings in April 2018, the Clontarf Residents’ Association and I Love St Anne’s have been working together on this campaign. Our mission from the outset has been to prevent development on the St Paul’s playing fields and to protect these lands going forward.

We are liaising with our legal advisors on the best course of action and we will advise you of the next steps in the process as soon as we can.
