community reporter clontarfWe are seeking our first intern here at loveclontarf.ie

With this position, there are no office hours, in the traditional sense. The intern will be allowed the freedom to pitch story ideas and attend local events to provide news coverage or reviews.

Experience in photography, videography, and sound recording will be helpful, but are not essential. Social media experience would also be helpful.

The intern selected will be employed by Web Together who are the website managers and publishers for loveclontarf.ie. While the primary focus is on local news and event coverage, there may also be opportunities to provide coverage in other areas.
 
There will be a wide variety of topics including local sports club news, business news, residents news and local events. The position may appeal to a recent graduate in the field of journalism/communications and will suit someone with an interest in local affairs.

All articles must adhere to the editorial guidelines as set out by the Clontarf Residents' Association and Clontarf Business Association. Weekly meetings with the editor are required.

Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week

Compensation: Internship/Credit with possible future per story compensation. Expense allowance.

There may be additional administration work available with Web Together which would be paid hours.
