Great Success at local community fundraiser for Crumlin Childrens' Hospital
There was a great community effort on Saturday, April 21st on Vernon Avenue as a number of families got together to hold a 'Bake Sale' to
raise funds for Our Lady's Children's Hospital in Crumlin. An amazing range of cakes and treats were selling fast, as well as toys and books for all ages.
All the children got involved in the effort and by close of business, there wasn't a crumb left. Thanks to the generosity of the local community, a very impressive €770 was raised which will go directly to the hospital.
Crumlin Childrens' Hospital rely on the support of donors and volunteers to help ensure that critically ill and injured children have access to the highest quality care, and funds are desperately needed to provide better conditions for patients and family.
Well done to all concerned on the day....great to see community spirit alive and well in Clontarf!
