Comedy Club at the Viking Theatre
Comedy Club is back to the Viking theatre this weekend on Friday and Saturday night, April 27th and 28th.
Joe Rooney is MC for the weekend. Joe is well known for his part as 'Father Damo' in Father Ted, and also as the barfly 'Timmy'
in Killinaskully.
His guests on Friday night are Ian Perth and Tommy Nicholson. Ian Perth is a relatively new Irish comedian and his witty observations of life in Ireland in the past and present have made him a regular in comedy clubs. Tommy Nicholson, hailing from Dundalk, has supported Des Bishop on tour and has played at many comedy gigs.
Saturday night, Joe is joined by Aidan Killian, who is back from successful tours in Edinburgh, London and New York with his show ”Take The Red Pill”. With a tongue in cheek show, Aidan explains in a fun and positive way that debt is an illusion!! Ed Sammon also takes up the mike to ensure that the night is a bit of auld crack!
This is the third of the Comedy Club weekends at the Viking Theatre which has proved to be very popular. It is proving itself a gem of a local destination for culture and laughs.
