Enjoy two great events this month at the Clontarf Yacht Club.
First up, on Friday, January 19th at 8:30 pm, Cormac F. Lowth will be giving an illustrated lecture titled "A History of Lifeboats in Dublin Bay." Discover the heroic rescues and unfortunate tragedies involving the lifeboats.
Then, on January 26th at 8:30 pm, Jarlath Cunnane will be presenting a short film about The Russian White Sea Canal. This coincides with the launch of the updated and revised book on Northabout’s Adventures where Jarlath highlights Shackleton’s escape from Elephant Island in a small boat named James Caird.
