Clontarf V Landsdowne @ Castle Ave | Sat 27th April

26 Apr 2019

Clontarf will take on Lansdowne in the All-Ireland League Semi-Final in Castle Avenue this Saturday at 2.30pm.

The sides met two weeks ago at Lansdowne Road, in the final game of the regular league season, with Clontarf running out 36-8 winners.

Lansdowne were beaten finalists last season and secured the Leinster Senior Cup last Friday night with a 49-22 win over Dublin University (who incidentally are in action on Sunday in the other Semi-Final against Cork Constitution).

The Clontarf side, led by former Leicester Tiger Michel Noone, is set to feature the likes of Matt D'Arcy (two-time top AIL try-scorer), Ireland 7s Internationals Mick McGrath, Connacht scrum-half Angus Llyod and current Ireland U20 Grand Slam winner Brian Deeny on the side this weekend.

The AIL has proved to be an extremely competitive tournament, and as much local support as possible will be needed to help Clontarf side reach next Sunday's final at the Aviva Stadium.
