Clontarf - Ulster Bank League Champions!
Massive congratulations to Clontarf Senior Rugby team, who were crowned the Ulster Bank League champions following 3 point defeat over Cork Constitution at the Aviva Stadium on Sunday, May 8th.
Clontarf supporters turned out in their droves to support the Bulls. And after a dismal start to the morning, the sun came out just in time for the 2.30 pm kick-off.
Despite an 18 point lead at half-time, Clontarf had to battle it out against a determined Cork Con in the second-half, but ultimately the Bulls took home the silverware with the final score; 28-25.
Well done to the entire team, in particular, Coach Andy Wood, Captain Ben Reilly and of course, Joey Carbery who was named Man-of-the-Match!
