Clontarf Student To Represent Ireland At International Science Competition In Argentina

loveclontarf.ie would like to congratulate Darragh Glynn, a transition year student in St. Pauls College in Clontarf, who won a gold medal at the Irish Junior Science Olympiad which was held in DCU on Saturday 1st November 2014.

Darragh, along with two other gold medal winners and three silver medal winners will travel to Mendoza, Argentina on Sunday 30th November 2014 for 12 days to represent Ireland at the International Junior Science Olympiad.

The 2014 Irish Junior Science Olympiad (IrJSO 2014) is a science competition for students who are under sixteen as of December 31st 2014 and have achieved a high standard in both Science & Mathematics in their 2014 Junior Certificate Examinations. One hundred and sixteen students from all over the country were invited to participate in the examination in DCU to select the overall winners to go forward to represent Ireland in the international competition.
