Clontarf Student Receives Award In Texaco Children's Art Competition

loveclontarf.ie would like to congratulate Ewan Power for his success in this year's Texaco Children's Art Competition. Evan (aged 11) was awarded the Special Merit Award for his beautiful drawing, pictured above. 

Evan is a sixth class student at Belgrove Senior Boys School in Clontarf. Evan's entire class joined him in Drogheda today for the opening of a special exhibition in which Ewan's work is on show.

The 161 top prizewinning paintings from the Texaco Art Competition are now on display at the Highlanes Gallery in Drogheda until Wednesday the 7th of November. The exhibition will be open to the public each day from 10.30am to 5.00pm, Monday - Saturday . Admission is free.
