Clontarf Residents' Association & Dublin Bay Watch to protest at Dublin Port Company Information Day

27 Apr 2011

At a public meeting last night held in Clontarf it was decided that both the Clontarf Residents' Association and Dublin Bay Watch would not participate in the Public Information Day that is being organised by Dublin Port Company (DPC) on this Thursday at Clontarf Rugby Club. Please note that this is in spite of our previous advice to residents to go along to the Information Day.

Instead both groups will gather in the rugby club car park at 6.30pm as a way of showing their determined opposition to this new attempt by the DPC to infill 30-40 hectares of Dublin Bay.

We would urge all interested residents to come along tomorrow evening. We would like to send a strong message to the Dublin Port Company that the residents of Clontarf are prepared (yet again) to battle for our valuable local amenity.

Also, we are urgently looking for people to help with our campaign - could you spare 1-2 hours per month?  Read more here.

Welcome also to the new email newsletter subscribers who signed up for our newsletter last night at the meeting!
