Clontarf Players Present I Never Sang for My Father — Three Nights Only

11 Feb 2026
I Never Sang For My Father Poster

Clontarf Players return to the Sean O’Casey Theatre this February with Robert Anderson’s powerful and deeply moving play I Never Sang for My Father — but this time, for three performances only.

Running from Wednesday 25th to Friday 27th February 2026, this production explores the complex relationship between a father and son as they struggle to connect in the wake of family loss. Tender, honest and quietly powerful, the play examines love, regret and the things we sometimes find too difficult to say.

Unlike the company’s usual four-night run, there will be no Saturday performance, as the production moves on tour the following week, beginning in Rush on Monday 2nd March, and will go on to represent Clontarf Players on the All-Ireland Drama Festival circuit. With one fewer night available locally, audiences are encouraged to book early.
