Clontarf players feature strongly in U20 Rugby World Cup
Ireland secured their best ever finish at the Junior World Championship of rugby in South Africa after beating France in the play off for 5th spot. This followed a tremendous win over England in their previous match.
Clontarf forwards Des Merry and Tadhg Furlong featured throughout as forwards on the Irish team while fullback Mikey Sherlock played against Italy and South Africa.
