Clontarf Go Down Fighting in Ulster Bank League

21 Apr 2012

It was more heartbreak for Clontarf today in the Ulster Bank League. A hard fought victory away to Lansdowne gave Clontarf a chance of snatching the league from leaders St.Mary's.

However, Clontarf also needed Young Munster to secure an away win against St Mary's and while they led for most of the second half, a last ditch try by St Mary's in the 77th minute swung the league to the southside of Dublin.

Well done to all the lads. They gave it everything throughout the season and provided some great entertainment right up to the end.

Also here's a very well written match report from the Clontarf Rugy website from last week's match against St. Mary's at Castle Avenue.
