Clontarf GAA/Raheny GAA Fundraiser | St Francis Hospice

18 May 2020

Will you #GoTheDistance for St. Francis Hospice?

On Saturday, May 23rd Cluain Tarbh is taking on neighbours Raheny GAA in a 12-hour distance challenge. The club that goes the furthest by walking/cycling/running etc (while staying within 5Km from home) wins the challenge.

However more importantly the clubs are looking to raise €10,000 to support the vital work of St. Francis Hospice who have helped so many local families. Their fundraising activities have been severely impacted by COVID-19.

Cluain Tarbh wants to encourage everyone in Clontarf, not just members, to get involved. Walk the dog around the block, walk with the family down to the Réalt na Mara statue on Bull Island, cycle up and down the seafront a couple of times. Every bit of exercise helps. You can tag your distance to our social media accounts on Facebook and Twitter (@ClontarfGAAClub) and Instagram (@cluaintarbh) and there'll also be a WhatsApp number and online form on the day.

Make a donation to the hospice if you can at https://www.idonate.ie/GoTheDistanceForSFH
