Clontarf Community Games - Annual Athletics Trials
Clontarf has been enjoying lots of success on a variety of sports fields in recent months and years. Your help would be appreciated in trying to assemble the strongest possible team for the upcoming Community Games.
The Clontarf Community Games athletics trials will be held this Sunday 24th May at 12 noon. The venue has changed this year - head to Pitch 21, St Anne’s Park. The forecast is looking good, and it's a fun family event with more participants each year since we started the Games in 2012.
Age groups:
- Under 8: 60m & 80m (Born on or before 31 July 2007 you are OVERAGE)
- Under 10: 100m & 200m (Born on or before 31 July 2005 you are OVERAGE)
- Under 12: 100m & 600m (Born on or before 31 July 2003 you are OVERAGE)
- Under 14: 100m & 800m (Born on or before 31 July 2001 you are OVERAGE)
Registration fee €2 on the day.
The only criteria is that you live in Clontarf!
Winners need to be available to represent Clontarf at the Dublin Finals Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th June at Morton Stadium, Santry.
All children living in Clontarf are allowed to participate and have the chance of representing Clontarf at the Dublin Games, which will be held in Santry on 13/14th June. The Clontarf team is getting stronger each year so come along and help fly the local flag!
