The holiday season has arrived and Clontarf is ready to spread the Christmas cheer! From twinkling lights to festive markets and performances, there’s something to delight everyone this December. Whether you’re shopping for a loved one, enjoying a day out with the family or soaking in the festive atmosphere, we’re got you covered. Here’s what’s on this Christmas:

1. Christmas Tree Lighting at Red Stables

  • Date & Time: Sunday, 1st December, 4:15 PM (lighting at 4:30 PM)
  • LocationRed Stables, St Anne’s Park

Kick off the festive season with the Clontarf Residents Association’s annual tree lighting ceremony. Sing along to carols with the Kindred Singers and performers from Hailey-Rose’s Academy, and watch as Rainbow Phil introduces our very special, bearded guest switching on the magical lights.

There’ll be refreshments from Olive’s Room and a wonderful opportunity to support LauraLynn Children’s Hospice. Don’t forget your woolly hats – it promises to be a lovely evening!

2. Mince Pie Morning for a Meaningful Cause

  • Date & Time: Friday, 6th December, 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM
  • Location: 42 Chelsea Gardens

Join us for a tea and coffee morning in aid of children in Gaza. Tuck into some delicious mince pies, enjoy good company and contribute to a wonderful cause.

3. Christmas on the Farm

  • Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Location: St Anne’s City Farm & Ecology Centre

Celebrate the season at Christmas on the Farm. Meet Santa, the animals and enjoy festive activities in the rustic charm of the farm at this family-friendly event. Tickets are essential, so book early to secure your spot.

4. The CRC Christmas Market

5. A Christmas Carol at Viking Theatre
