Clontarf architects shortlisted in RIAI Awards 2012

24 May 2012

Irish Architecture Awards 2012Local architects, Greg Davey & David Smith (Davey & Smith Architects) have been shortlisted in the 23rd RIAI Irish Architecture Awards 2012.

Some of you will have met Greg Davey (one of the partners) during the Flood defence presentations in November where he, along with several other local architects, played a key technical role in the campaign against the flood defence plans.

For that, and the fact that it is a relatively new local business, we are pleased to see them getting on the shortlist. They are also supporters of loveclontarf.ie

This year there were 120 entries in the 16 different categories and a shortlist of 34 projects were selected by the jury. As in previous years the shortlist will form the basis for the RIAI Public Choice Award from which public can select their favourite building by voting online.  The Public Choice will be run on the RIAI website and will open for voting in early June

The Awards will be presented at an evening ceremony, on Thursday 21 June 2012 at the Woodquay Venue, Dublin City Council.
