Charity Run for Africa @ St. Anne's Park!

Grab your runners on February 27th 2016 and sign up to take part in the first ever African Run Ireland sponsored by Ethiopian Airlines. 

Taking place in the beautiful surroundings of St. Anne’s Park. Beginning from the top of the mile, the course will follow a 5km track through the wooded grounds of St. Anne’s along the football pitches and through the rose garden. After the run has finished, you will be able to see a display of the VLM projects in Africa and learn about the work they do first hand. All proceeds go to support the work of VLM Ireland.

VLM (Vincentian Lay Missionaries) are a small not-for-profit organisation working with some of the poorest people in Ethiopia, Ghana and other African communities since 2002. 

Registration for this run is €15 for 5km or €20 for 10km course. 

Please be reminded that places on the day will be limited and an extra €5 charge will be added for on the day registration.

Registration on the day opens at 11.00am.

The African Run Ireland will begin at 12 noon.

  • The course will be a 5km track around St. Anne’s. This course will be done twice for the 10km runners.
  • When you arrive at St. Anne’s Park the event will be signposted from all entrances.
  • Parking is available at a number of sites in and around the park.
