Ceoltoiri Chluain Tarbh Trad Players Impress on Later with Jools Holland!
Last week, the Dublin trad folk group Lynched which includes two teachers from Ceoltóirí Chluain Tarbh - Daragh Lynch (guitar) and Radie Peat (concertina and whistles) - appeared on the critically acclaimed ‘Later… With Jools Holland” on BBC2.
Lynched are a four-piece, trad-folk group from Dublin consisting of brothers Ian and Daragh Lynch, Radie Peat and Danny Cormac Mac Diarmada. They launched their debut album ‘Cold Old Fire’ in May 2015 and will embark on a UK tour in November - which we’re sure will be a sell out after appearing on the popular music show.
It’s great to see trad music getting recognition on such a high profile TV show - especially trad musicians from Ceoltóirí Chluain Tarbh!
