Celebrating Clontarf’s Own: Gerard Devine's Poetry Takes Centre Stage at Croke Park!
)
We’ve always known that Clontarf is home to some incredible talent, and we love nothing more than celebrating it! This week, we're giving a shout-out to local poet Gerard Devine, whose beautiful words are making waves far beyond our beautiful coastline.
Many of you will remember Gerard sharing his wonderful poetry with us at our ‘Picnic on the Prom’ event. His talent for capturing the spirit of our community is special, and we were so proud to see his poem, "The Hurley Maker", featured on the big screen at Croke Park during the epic Tipperary vs. Kilkenny All-Ireland semi-final last month!
Gerard, who so beautifully captures the essence of Clontarf in his words, has another fantastic poem and video, featuring Connollys, The Sheds. It's always a joy to see our community through the eyes of those who know and love it so well.
Grab a cuppa and take a few moments to enjoy Gerard's poem, "Connolly's with My Uncle".
