Cathy Durkin RIP
Back in May, we did a story about Cathy Durkin and the Cancer Treatment Fund she helped to set up.
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Cathy Durkin. Cathy passed away a few days ago, just a few months after starting her treatment on Ipilimumab, which her, her family and her friends campaigned tirelessly for, causing the government to make it available to up to 200 patients in Ireland.
Cathy was truly an inspirational figure, and we would like to extend our deepest condolences to her family and friends.
