Case of Damaged Wall Solved!

You may recall last Thursday November 5th, we reached out to our readers asking them to help in regards to an incident which occurred on the Clontarf Road the previous morning. 

At around 8am on Wednesday 4th, a red pallet truck smashed into a residential wall, causing considerable damage, and then fled the scene. 

Within hours of posting our appeal for witnesses on loveclontarf.ie and Facebook, a local woman contacted us providing information which her daughters had witnessed while taking the bus to school.

Following this, over the weekend a man who had been cycling to work on Wednesday morning called to the house on Victoria Terrace. He had seen the entire incident unfold and managed to get a picture of the truck on his phone. The matter is now being dealt with by the guards. 

The local resident would like to extend a huge thank you to all those who shared the post on Facebook and came forward with information.
