Susan Quin, a Pearse College Photography graduate, captures the profound social issue affecting Ireland's youth by spotlighting Alison Byrne's "Hidden Homeless" Glass Houses series from the Botanic Gardens Sculpture Exhibition.

Susan's journey began during her final year exhibition, exploring the challenging transition young adults face moving out of home. Discovering Alison Byrne's Glass Houses, each portraying a powerful narrative of those affected by Ireland's housing crisis, Susan photographed them against Clontarf's Bull Wall, enhancing their emotional impact.

Alison Byrne's series, "Hidden Homeless," transcends traditional art by giving voice to individuals' struggles. Each piece, with titles reflecting personal challenges, provides a glimpse into their lives.

Originally from Clontarf and now living in Sutton, Susan's personal ties deepen her project's impact. Her photographs not only showcase Clontarf's beauty but also raise awareness of local housing issues, urging action through art.
