Burglary in Clontarf - Can You Help?

02 Nov 2016

One of readers got in touch with us over the weekend to inform us that their home had been burgled on Thursday 27th October during the night, while the family was sleeping upstairs.

Among some of the items stolen from the house was a old handbag with a metallic clasp on the side. The owner is hoping that the handbag may have been discarded somewhere in Clontarf and might contain some of their personal stuff for which the thief/thieves would have no use for - namely; an agenda (in Spanish), and a wallet with some family photos inside and a drivers license.

We ask any of our readers who might have spotted a handbag dumped anywhere or have seen any suspicious activity around Clontarf on Thursday to get in touch with Clontarf Garda Station.

As the evenings have gotten significantly darker, we urge all our readers to 'lock up and light up' this Winter and always report any suspicious behaviour to Clontarf Garda Station on 01 666 4800
