Work Areas: The beach, the sand dunes, the inner shore, and the causeway, if we have enough volunteers. We will conduct an inspection on Friday in order check which areas need to be prioritised.

DCC: Dublin City Council provides a tractor and trailer plus a driver to haul away what we pick up.

Weather: The forecast is to be cloudy and cool with a gentle breeze from the southwest. Some rain is expected i the afternoon. Maximum temperature will be 9-12 C. Source: https://www.yr.no/en . Applying sunscreen is advisable. Wearing wellies or boots is always a good idea. Bring a rain jacket with you.

Tide: High water will be at 08:35 - height 3.53m.
Low water will be at 14:39 - height 0.93m.
This means that we will be working as the tide is receding.

Beaches are one of the most beautiful places to spend time, but theyre also incredibly vulnerable to pollution so let's do our bit and pull together to keep Dollymount free from litter and enjoy our fabulous local beach.
