Bull Island Action Group August Beach Clean Up
The Bull Island Action Group Monthly Beach Clean Up for August will take place this Saturday, 20th.
Those wishing to volunteer are asked to arrive at the entrance to Dollymount Strand (just past Royal Dublin Golf Club) at 10:45 AM, in order to begin the clean up at 11 AM.
Dublin City Council will provide a tractor and trailer, plus a driver, to remove and dispose of all the rubbish collected by volunteers. The Dublin Port Company will provide litter-picking equipment, such as litter-pickers, bin bag hoops, rubbish bags and gloves.
This month, the group will continue to send volunteers into the inner shore area. This work will start from the causeway road. This group will meet at 11 AM at the rear service entrance to Royal Dublin. Volunteers will be provided with equipment at this location also.
Rain is forecast for Saturday with a temperature of 16 C. Volunteers are advised to bring a rain jacket and wear sun protection. Good footwear is also essential.
This is a great opportunity to make a difference in our community and keep Clontarf looking beautiful!
