Bull Island Action Group - April Beach Clean Up!

The Bull Island Action Group ‘Monthly Beach Clean Up’ for April, will take place on Saturday the 16th. 

Those wishing to volunteer are asked to arrive at the entrance to Dollymount Strand (beside Royal Dublin Golf Club) at 10:50AM, in order to begin the clean up as quickly as possible. 

Dublin City Council will provide a tractor and trailer, plus a driver, to remove and dispose of all the rubbish collected by volunteers. The Dublin Port Company will provide litter-picking equipment, such as litter-pickers, bin bag hoops, rubbish bags and gloves. 

The weather forecast for Saturday is light rain, and a low temperature of 5 degrees C. Volunteers are advised to bring a rain jacket and wrap up warm. Good footwear is also essential. 

This is a great opportunity to make a difference in our community and keep Clontarf looking beautiful!
