Bull Island Action Group - April Beach Clean Up!

13 Apr 2017

The Bull Island Action Group Monthly Beach Clean Up for April 2017 will take place this Saturday, 15th.

Those wishing to volunteer are asked to arrive at the entrance to Dollymount Strand (just past Royal Dublin Golf Club) at 10:45 AM, in order to begin the clean up at 11 AM

Dublin City Council will provide a tractor and trailer, plus a driver, to remove and dispose of all the rubbish collected by volunteers. The Dublin Port Company will provide litter-picking equipment, such as litter-pickers, bin bag hoops, rubbish bags and gloves.

The weather for Saturday is set to be cloudy and no rain is forecast. It will be cold with a temperature of 5 degrees. There will be a moderate breeze so be sure to wrap up well and bring a waterproof jacket just in case. Sturdy footwear and thick socks are essential and rubber boots are always a good idea.

Why not bring a friend of family member along? The more volunteers the more work that can be done!

Donal will not be at the Clean Up this Saturday, however, Craig will be there in his absence.
