Alan Bracken was elected to Fianna Fáil National Executive last week.

"I was delighted to be elected and now hope to get Fianna Fáil moving in Dublin once again. Fianna Fáil must work hard to show an alternative in communities across the country. I hope to be able to put this message across to the Governing body of Fianna Fáil" said Alan.

Fianna Fáil leader Michaél Martin TD said that "Alan is a very hard-working and committed member of the Fianna Fáil team in Dublin. He beat of stiff competition at our Ard Fheis in the RDS to secure his position on the party's governing body, the Ard Comhairle. I know he will bring great energy and commitment to his role. I very much look forward to working closely with him over the coming months."
