Dear Frankie play on 1st April - Free Tickets to be won

25 Mar 2011

After a very successful run last September, The Five Lamps Theatre Company are presenting another performance of Dear Frankie a play by Niamh Gleeson, a native of Clontarf, about the iconic Radio Eireann agony-aunt, Frankie Byrne. The play is on April 1st in the Liberty Hall Theatre on Friday, 1st April. (WE HAVE 2 TICKETS TO GIVE AWAY! - SEE BELOW)

An institution on the airwaves, the voice and signature tune to The Women's Page instantly recognisable for anyone over a certain age, Frankie Byrne was a household name for over 20 years.  Dear Frankie celebrates the life and times of the woman who solved the problems of a love-hungry nation and also survived many of her own personal trials along the way.

There is a big Clontarf involvement with the playwright, the tour manager and the PRO all coming from Clontarf. We hope you can support them if possible.

They have also given us 2 tickets for the show. To enter the draw for these tickets simply answer the following question:

"What is the name of the theatre company putting on this production?" - email us with your answer, your name, your email, and the first line of your Clontarf address.
